Professor Röntgen meets the Virtual Body (1994)

This video was created at the former Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science in Medicine, using the VOXEL-MAN visualization system, at the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of X-rays by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. It was first shown at the Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in 1994. It won the Video Award 1995 of the German Radiological Society (Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft).

 

 

Although originally produced in digital format, this video was copied from a Betacam tape.
