The VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigator: Upper Limb is the latest addition to a series of interactive atlases of anatomy and radiology. It follows VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigators Brain and Skull and Inner Organs. The program is based on a high resolution realistic digital body model that was derived from the cross-sectional images of the Visible Human Project. It contains approximately 320 three-dimensional anatomical objects of the arm and the hand including bones, muscles, arteries, and nerves, as well as tendons and ligaments.

scenesThe material is organized into 11 scenes (right) that can be interactively explored and additionally viewed in stereoscopic vision (red/green glasses included).

The anatomical nomenclature is available in Latin, English and German, while the manual is available in English and German.
