When your VOXEL-MAN simulator is connected to the Internet, Microsoft Windows will automatically check for updates. We recommend installing all mandatory and security updates. The same applies to Adobe Reader and other pre-installed apps.
Please note that a major Windows update may slow down your simulator for several hours before and after installation. Time-critical features such as haptics and 3D display may thus temporarily be affected. In this case, leave the system on for several hours (preferably overnight, no Internet connection needed) to allow it to complete all post-installation procedures.
To check if Windows undates are currently running on your system, go to
Start – Settings – Update & Security – Windows Update
Here, you can also temporarily disable Windows updates with
Pause updates for 7 days
However, make sure not to disable Windows updates completely.
