We are pleased to introduce the first commercially available autostereoscopic 3D display for the VOXEL-MAN medical training simulators. This innovative technology makes it possible to see brilliant three-dimensional images, without having to wear 3D glasses. Virtual patient and instruments may appear both in front of or behind the screen. An integrated tracking system allows the user to move freely in a large area in front of the 3D display and get a natural 3D impression.
The application to medical simulators was developed in cooperation with United Screens, Hamburg, Germany, a leading supplier of glasses-free 3D technologies. The autostereoscopic display features a diagonal of 28 inches and can be placed on a table or mounted on the VOXEL-MAN housing. It can be combined with all VOXEL-MAN ENT Workstation and Dental Workstation training simulators.
