Surgery Simulator with Autostereoscopic 3D Display

Hamburg, May 24, 2019

Voxel-Man and SeeFront have presented a Voxel-Man ENT surgery simulator with an autostereoscopic 3D display. This innovative technology allows to see brilliant three-dimensional images of the virtual surgical site and experience its spatial depth without wearing 3D glasses. It can be used e.g. for microscopic or 3D endoscopic interventions. A fully functional prototype will be showcased at the upcoming Annual Meeting of the German ENT Society in Berlin.

Based in Hamburg, Germany, SeeFront is a leading developer of autostereoscopic displays, i.e. a 3D monitor with no glasses. An integrated tracking system enables the user to move freely within a large area in front of the stereoscopic display and get a natural 3D impression at any position.
