The mummy still lies in the original lower part of the coffin, in which it was buried 2300 years ago. It is made of sycamore wood, a native Egyptian species, in the form of a mummy. The shape and decoration of the coffin make it possible to date the mummy to the Ptolemaic period (300 B.C.).
The inscription on the coffin tells us that it encloses the mummy of a female. Her name, unfortunately, is illegible.
